This is Captain Pugwash. And where, you may ask, are his good friends Seaman Stains, Master Bates and Roger the Cabin Boy? Nowhere, for the very good reason that they never existed. Shame on you for thinking they did. It's an urban myth, like the one about cars running on 'petrol', which is apparently made from 'oil', and the one about there being a town called 'Doncaster'.
