Just what I did on 22 March 1983 has always weighed heavily on me, so last night I launched my latest site-specific installation 'What I did on 22 March 1983' on, or rather under a motorway flyover near Dewsbury. It consists of a single A4 sheet sellotaped to the central barrier detailing what I did on 22 March 1983. It has now been seen by several thousand commuters, HGV drivers and confused mobility buggy users who thought they were just nipping down the shops for the paper, and will remain in place until next Thursday, after which we will never again speak of what I did on 22 March 1983.
