I was glad to come across this image again on a Google trawl for 'ugly', having seen it I don't know where, years ago now. The page it's on doesn't give any details beyond 'ugly Ozark twins', but my memory of it was that it was part of a study of poor white South Africans. There was another image of a very piggy-looking man cradling a pig in his arms, if that helps jog anyone's memory.
